Friday 24th August 2018 marks the end of another successful Book Week. Gruff hopes that you enjoyed celebrating all things ‘literature’ this week. He has loved seeing so many people excited about reading and school children (and some adults) all over Australia dressed up as their favourite book characters. The winners of this year’s CBCA book awards have now been announced. This year there were 444 entries, with 36 being shortlisted. Certainly not an easy job for any judge to choose only one winner per category.
